Vidisco has been continuously on the front line of R&D for the last 20 years. We were the first company to achieve truly portable a-Si flat panel inspection systems in 2001; providing cutting edge high resolution and 14 bit dynamic range (16,384 grey levels) images. Our Flat foX-17 system offers a large imaging area and the foX-Rayzor is the thinnest imager ever produces - just 13 mm (even thinner than a film cassette). We are also the only company to offer truly portable Dual Energy (organic/inorganic detection) capabilities and in 2008 we launched our unique XE-DE Module, which enables taking Dual Energy images with a pulsed X-ray source.

Vidisco puts an emphasis on teamwork and ingenuity, investing much time and effort into new ideas and technology. Vidisco also builds tailor-made custom designed systems for special projects and customers, works with most of the major EOD/IED robot producers around the world, and is a supplier of specialized X-ray systems to some of the most well known international aerospace companies, providing unique solutions both in the production and post production stages.
